RACE REPORT OULTON PARK

Oliver Cottam competed in rounds four, five, and six of the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB at Oulton Park this weekend. The event showcased his determination and potential as he navigated through various challenges and improved his performance on the track.

Qualifying

Qualifying didn't go as planned for Oliver. Despite expectations, he posted slower times compared to free practice. He acknowledged the need to get quicker out of the box and improve his lap times. Oliver qualified in P8, which provided a decent starting point for the races.

Race 1

In the first race, Oliver made a strong start, moving up the field. He climbed to P7 but encountered a setback during a moment at Cascades, dropping back to P10. Despite this, his overall performance in the race was commendable as he managed to navigate the field effectively.

Race 2

Starting from P7, where he finished in race two, Oliver had a promising start in race three. He initially gained a position but lost it later in the first lap. Despite this, the race was marked by positive improvements in his results compared to previous rounds.
